When you first receive your frame, please measure the sticks to make sure:
- The legs are the correct lengths that you need.
- The groove width will fit the thickest part of the artwork.
- The groove depth is deep enough to cover everything you need it to cover.
To put the stained-glass, double-sided, frame together:
- Pre-drill the corners to nail or screw them.
- Attach 3 pieces to make a “U”, not an “L” as you would a regular frame.
- Slide your artwork into the “U”.
- Attach the last piece.
- You may want to use decorative screws/nails or countersink them to hide them. We recommend screws as it can be hard on the artwork when hitting the nail.
- Use eye screws or decorative hardware about 1/3rd of the way down from the top, on the outside of frame to attach the hanging wire/fishing line/decorative chain. WE DO NOT RECOMMEND HANGING FROM THE TOP OF THE FRAME.
